Fuck Kristian Matsson, can you do anything wrong? I mean, not only is this song created for the Yellow Bird Project, which is a non profit that donates proceeds of cloths designed by indie artists to charities, but it’s a phenomenal song in its own right. Not to mention its done in the style of the Yellow Bird Project clothing line making it quite the cool video. Yellow Bird Project

I’m glad more bands are making their own videos then posting them to Vimeo. Vimeo is an excellent self-marketing tool for bands; youtube just seems tacky in comparison nowadays. Also, why make an expensive video for MTV that nobody would see? Rhetorical question, there is no reason. Heres  ”To The Alps” 7”, Princeton’s first release since their debut LP Coocoon of...

His mixing skills are superb and yet he hasn’t released anything.  Check him out DJ’ing at the Boiler Room in the video below. If you liked that then download his mix from XLR8R below. ...

Touring alongside Grizzly Bear and releasing albums in cooperation with Devendra Banhart as well as Andy Cabic of Vetiver has given Papercuts quite the upper hand in the music industry. Moderately successful in their previous releases, heres hoping the newest album will be somewhat like this track (a success). The project centered around San Fransisco’s Jason Quever, will release their...

The Skull Defekts // Peer Amid
“The Skull Defekts is a two-headed beast from Sweden. One for hypnotic rock and one for experimental electronics. The band has been compared to Can, Wolf Eyes, Wire, Shellac and beyond.” When the last.fm description read as above, I was skeptical. I am now convinced that this two headed beast from Sweden description is indeed true. These guys fucking rock. The meld between...
